Surely sig 11 is just as common as sig 12? 2. There's one issue with doing "make world" that this doesn't cover: it's possible (n'est-ce pas?) for it to wipe out non-standard bits of your configuration: notably it tries to rebuild sendmail even if /usr/sbin/sendmail is actually Exim or Smail or something.
