PC-BSD 10.1 directed me to this list.  I've semi-scoured the  
internet.  The files mentioned on websites don't exist on my  
computer.  I can't find any way to change the brightness in KDE on PC- 
BSD.  It's too bright.  The buttons on my HP laptop don't work.   
There's no setting in power management or anywhere else that I can find.
