Yeah, I kinda thought not. :-) > When > IRQ 9 is used, do you find that it locks up > a) if the card is in the machine on boot? The boot sequence goes fine until the pccardd recognizes the card, loads the driver and things lock up. I was able to do this and restart the system by ejecting the card, so a dmesg from that is attached. > b) The moment the card is inserted? No. > c) A few seconds later during the probe of the card (but > before the probe message prints) Nope, probe message is printed, and dhcp starts. > d) After the probe/attach sequence on the card's first > interrupt? And do pcic0 and pcic1 have the > same interrupt or a different interrupt? pcic0 and pcic1 report the same parameters (irq 9) with the exception of the device 19.0 and 19.1 respectively. The card is in slot 1 (messages come from pcic1). You can see this on the dmesgs. One is from a boot with the card in, the other inserted after boot. They look the same to me, but maybe you see something I don't. (Hey, strange fact - I just rebooted after getting the second dmesg (to a 4.3 kernel from a couple weeks ago) and the usb controller was in a pretty strange state - stopped or some such. Maybe nothing.) In any case, let me know if you need more info. --apbmkPN6Hu/1dI3g Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="dmesg.boot" Copyright (c) 1992-2001 The FreeBSD Project.
