I succeeded in using Mark Dawson's ida.c driver for the SmartRAID 2DH
RAID Controller card. However, how would I know when a drive has died?
And just as important, how would I know which drive to replace? Do I
have to reboot and use the Compaq Diagnostic utility? That would be
rather troublesome if this is a production server. Also, how would I go
about testing the RAID array? In terms of stability?
