This is a very good point, that I've been racking my brains to try to work out a nice way to get equivalent functionality. Apart from manually specifying the languages... LC_MESSAGES_FILES=3Dtransmission-gtk LC_MESSAGES_LANGS=3D an ar ast az be be@latin bg bn bo br bs ca ca@valencia ceb ckb cs da de el en_AU en_CA en_GB eo es et eu fa fi fil fo fr ga gl gv he hi hr hy hu ia id is it ja ka kk ko ku ky li lt lv mk ml mr ms mt my nb nds nl nn oc pa pl pt pt_BR ro ru si sk sl sq sr sv sw ta_LK te th tl tr ug uk ur uz vi zh_CN zh_TW which looks horrible, and does away with the idea of removing the dependency on the files. Perhaps we could just leave the plist lines in, and create every language directory imaginable in the gettext port, or even better a gettext-hier port :) At least that's one plist line per language rather than three... Anyone got any cleverer ideas? Chris Oh, thanks to the person who reminded me that using LC_MESSAGES is a bad idea, because it means something to a lot of software.
