The pkg-descr file for linux-firefox says linux-blackdown-jdk1.4.1 is supported. Unfortunately, the version of linux-blackdown-jdk in ports is 1.4.2. When I make the obvious change to /usr/X11R6/lib/linux-firefo x/linkfarm, no plugin installation seems to happen. "usage:plugins" shows no JDK. When I establish a symbolic link /usr/local/linux-blackdown-jdk1.4.1 -> /usr/local/linux-blackdown-jdk1. 4.2 and run an unmodified linkfarm, usage:plugins indicates that the JDK plugin has been installed, but linux-firefox core dumps as soon as I attempt to display a page with Java content. What am I missing? The name, plugin, doesn't imply to me that it should be this hard. -- M/S 258-5 |1024-bit PGP fingerprint:|tweten@nas.nasa.gov NASA Ames Research Center| 41 B0 89 0A 8F 94 6C 59| (650) 604-4416 Moffett Field, CA 94035 | 7C 80 10 20 25 C7 2F E6|FAX: (650) 604-4377 Not an official NASA position; you can't even be certain who sent this!
