I'll do this if people think that'd be okay. People already have to learn a new name. They may as well learn the name of one that has sensible defaults. I'm in favour of the current behaviour but I _still_ think you should commit my patches that add a "mount /tmp in mfs" option to rc.conf. Yes, it's not generic, but there are _many_ very specific options in there and this is a _very_ common wishlist item for newly installed servers. So much so that most folks would probably ask for a sysinstall knob for the option once its available in rc.conf. Ciao, Sheldon.
