Haven't used bind 9 yet, but in bind 8 you can specify: allow-update { xxx; }; in the options or zone sections of named.conf. xxx can be an earlier-defined acl, a list of ips, or 'key <tsig key>' To do it with a zone key, there is a little walkthru here: http://www.nominum.com/resources/faqs/bind-faqs.html#tsig2 which worked for me when i set it up... i've never had to use it in production since my so-called dynamic ip has been static for like 3 months.
