Sorry, my description was incomplete: the server was rebooted ~ 32 days ago. /var/run/dmesg.boot says, the missing disk was already missing at that time. /var/log/messages to /var/log/messages.4.bz2 .4.bz2 are present, but the first entry is from ~ 12 days ago. There are no logfiles in the archive that are older than 30 days. "zpool history -il" gives nor hint that the pool it's degraded.
