i did not mention that you needed to redownload the source
and that you recompile everything
you can just recompile the kernel, in the directories i mentioned
takes some time, but NOT that many time :)

is there something i should do before the process to make a backup before
starting?  so instead of downloading from the

should i tar the whole /usr/src?
