There has to be a limit. Like so many limits, it has to increase as more
and more people bump up against it, provided:

	1) They're not bumping up against it just because they've done
	   something silly.

	2) They've all hiked the limit in question locally and haven't
	   observed any problems for a while.

I don't think we clear either of these two with this PR.
