I've never had any luck changing the luck with changing the link
flags on an ethernet card once they were set.  Maybe I just did not
understand what I was seeing.  So I have been rebooting.

When you say stop/restart pccard, do you mean remove/reinsert the
pccard or is there something else I need to do.
