Dropping version from LIB_DEPENDS does not produce different package, but will make the port more robust, e.g. it would allow to build the port even if one doesn't want to upgrade its dependent libraries. Also, most of the times software does not depend on specific ABI version, so including it in LIB_DEPENDS is actually rather wrong than right. In those rare cases when we actually *require* specific version (e.g. for binary ports), we continue to list it. ./danfe
