It's the first time that I would like to try out setting up a ga= lera cluster. I don't really care whether implemented through MariaDB, Percona, and/or MySQL. There is no *SQL cluster solution for FreeBSD working at the moment (as far as I know), so getting one to work is already a good start. Ari, your proposal to start with MariaDB makes sense to me. I just created a reference to the upstream bug report in Bug 208109.
