Three very quick comments;

Alt tags are needed here.

Can you drop the "Read Article" link, and add it at the end of the 
description?  So that

    ...
    Focusses on the BSD Development model and the ease of keeping
    up to date with tools like sup and CVSup
    Read Article

becomes something more like

    ...
    Focusses on the BSD Development model and the ease of keeping
    up to date with tools like sup and CVSup. (more)

or similar.

Finally, the "Older news" page has odd formatting.  Specifically, it 
wants to extend far past the right hand width of my browser.  The main
news page doesn't have this problem.

Apart from that, it looks great.
