[-- Attachment #1 --] should I do a mv /dev/wd1s1a /dev/wd0s1a too for all wd1 instances too? I've changed only the /etc/fstab in the past but it still had problems mounting; so i wondered if there was something else that needed changing. I didnt change the kernel to reflect the new changes at the time so that might have been my problem. tnx for the help, Michael Morgan Internal Support/IT Security Home Financial Network 1337 East 750 North Orem, UT 84097 801-234-5740 -----Original Message----- From: James A. It should be as simple as replacing the first occurrence of '1' with '0'. Example: /dev/rwds1a -> /dev/rwds0a. You might need to change this in the kernel config as well.
