Did the "Trying to mount root from ufs:/dev/ada0s2a" > eventually time out? It doesn't time out. After it hits: ugen0.2: at usbus0 It sits there for a while and then slow over the coarse of maybe 5 minutes or so then it is get down to random: unblocking device. After that it will not response. I have let it sit for maybe 30 minutes or so and it doesn't continue to boot. What I found is that vendor 0x0424 product 0x2514 is a usb hub. Please see: http://www.yoctopuce.com/EN/products/extensions-and-networking/micro-usb-hub-v2 I can't find anything about the old radeon graphics card that I have, but I can find a similar error with an Nvidia card. I am going to do some more research to see if the that card has a usb hub. Honestly, I have worked on this for years, most days working past the point of exhausting hoping that I will get this working. I learn last night that the X5000 is no longer available. I was hoping to buy several more system if I could make this work. I did take some time off to go back to school and I am so close to have my degree in computer science, but I stopped again to work on the X5000. I really don't want to put this project on hold again, but maybe I will need to. I am going to try a different radeon card as soon as I can get mine and look for used systems. Kind Regards, Al
