Gurus,

I am having problems with newly compiled Screen - when run off a
shell, nothing happens - the machine just sits there, no echo or much
of anything, have to reboot (is there a less violent way, BTW?)   BUT
when run off gdb - works fine...  

Details: 2.0.5, AMD486-100, 16 o'RAM, pcvt console, screen tar ball is
from the CDROM.
