The new kernel not longer finds my pci bus. The motherboard I am using is a SuperMicro with the Triton Chip set. Unfortunatly, I removed the kernel I was running yesterday by mistake. I now have the system up, but many things don't work correctly -- I am running a kernel that is *real* old now (I think it might be a 2.0.5 kernel). I booted the old kernel with a -v (pci info attached). Stefan, if you need someone to test the new pci changes I will certainly be more than happy to do so :-). -Jim ------------- Probing for devices on the pci0 bus: configuration mode 1 allows 32 devices. pci0:0: INTEL CORPORATION, device=0x122d, class=bridge [not supported] pci0:7: INTEL CORPORATION, device=0x122e, class=bridge [not supported] vga0 rev 0 on pci0:17 pci0:18: INTEL CORPORATION, device=0x1223, class=multimedia [not supported] map(10): mem32(ffbdd000) ncr0 rev 2 int a irq 11 on pci0:19 mapreg[10] type=1 addr=0000fc00 size=0100. mapreg[14] type=0 addr=ffbdff00 size=0100. reg20: virtual=0xf47cef00 physical=0xffbdff00 size=0x100 ncr0: restart (scsi reset). ncr0 scanning for targets 0..6 (V2 pl21 95/03/21) (ncr0:0:0): "HP C2247-300 0BH4" type 0 fixed SCSI 2 sd0(ncr0:0:0): Direct-Access sd0(ncr0:0:0): FAST SCSI-2 100ns (10 Mb/sec) offset 8. 1003MB (2054864 512 byte sectors) sd0(ncr0:0:0): with 2051 cyls, 13 heads, and an average 77 sectors/track (ncr0:2:0): "TOSHIBA CD-ROM XM-3401TA 2873" type 5 removable SCSI 2 cd0(ncr0:2:0): CD-ROM cd0(ncr0:2:0): 250ns (4 Mb/sec) offset 8. cd0(ncr0:2:0): NOT READY asc:4,1 cd0(ncr0:2:0): Logical unit is in process of becoming ready can't get the size de0 rev 17 int a irq 10 on pci0:20 mapreg[10] type=1 addr=0000f880 size=0080. mapreg[14] type=0 addr=ffbdfe80 size=0080. reg20: virtual=0xf47cfe80 physical=0xffbdfe80 size=0x80 de0: DC21140 [10-100Mb/s] pass 1.1 Ethernet address 00:00:c0:b3:d0:9a de0: enabling 10baseT UTP port bpf: de0 attached @@@ pcibus_ihandler_attach: result=16 irq 10 already in use. pci0: uses 384 bytes of memory from ffbdfe80 upto ffbdffff. pci0: uses 384 bytes of I/O space from f880 upto fcff.
