I just wondered what the current status of ATA Tagged Command Queueing as supported by some IBM/Hitachi(?) drives is. I got a Hitachi IC35L060AVV207-0 (DeskStar 180GXP) and would like to try out this feature under FreeBSD. Does the ata(4) driver support TCQ and is it known to work, perhaps even without eating too much data? ;-)
