The proposed patch will work, but doesn't seem very elegant. I wrote the scr2* stuff on a FreeBSD system, deliberately using the available bsd.*.mk macros in /usr/share/mk for simplicity. Now it looks as though a FreeBSD bsd.prog.mk Makefile will need to be post-processed before it plays nicely with the ports system. That strikes me as 'wrong' somehow. /usr/share/mk and ports/Mk should be a little more integrated than this. Any thoughts on how we might go about it? If not, I'll just commit the suggested patch. But it would be nice to find a way to do it a little cleaner.
