what is the exact syntax of the "alias" option to ifconfig? I want to alias one of my network interfaces so that the host responds to more than 1 IP address (for the purpose of virtual hosting on my web server) and I don't seem to be able to figure out the right syntax. I've tried several alternatives, and the ifconfig(8) man page does not make it clear how to do this. Thanks in advance for all responses. Dean Neumann TeleLink Technologies Inc.
