To be sure I understand your use case: you want to have a working area larger than the displayed area, and to reach the hidden content, you move the cursor against the screen border and the displayed area shifts. Is this right? If I'm correct, I believe you can achieve this by using xrandr (x11/xrandr) and its --panning option. xrandr(1) allows to change the configuration at runtime; no need to modify your xorg.conf file. Of course, that doesn't explain why your current configuration doesn't work anymore with the newer X.Org server... --=20 Jean-S=E9bastien P=E9dron --6mIoGir7qmjFPftSHnQuHv2uDvTWQD4oe Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.22 (FreeBSD) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://www.enigmail.net/ iQIcBAEBAgAGBQJTfb3CAAoJEDnpl2Gl/ZTM1CEQAICvBis02WkT3yJM9qXNT460 heV0/1V57aqOMG6//qMK1C+v5gatWsCka3VEyctdzHeVqv44wG2nj8/XvFd6AjVe msg2FbrWWwIk0PHpYy3dVeqkZGCT6KfS54PhJQBU4K2gK52gLI6VZoA9NWbmXs6O rrHwVDhdF2xa3FltNupUSG3rcmHAFvrW+Q9sBeUaKca2IgP2uc4oQnznvbLKi5ol DUYQluJZ5eCnmcmxIO5zBkRj21RwBsBL6Gfzgk67oCGF3Fzt51lIg82hi0Gj/2+/ B7Vv4y4wCFacVn1/s/MpEXYIqUkTNIRuFhKJCqvY+aoqDzS4JoenOXdpzvDan4Ts 1VL6sH9sO0DiK0SfQAqCWDa1ZCei+vr4CAcqU5H8jEfQLLpICPbkMqDqjHRMdJLC tI1/9mfRws4L0Bi4DuLWjRUNpbgSJUbTWkYJ7Q6LuOB+LEzcmsBoM3/6BqY8QjjB MxeMGR2+fApbXqKJnTLYSKh3EqLQ2J5/LgWaKMSV0BX9o/dhETQHZpRZazadSICw UvF7viqvqW8qJAOLc1P3wF+1hjvW4Qdzv/cjY84QcieaXhk6X3VvdbmwPpZC3wuZ C11pJU493JVa0GVrb5nhTtaP2fVFZ+GaWtW2GtSFCQgT1wJ0uucGz3tVv1GMNurf bPQr4aWmUfMQUs/P/PvN =ZzyO -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --6mIoGir7qmjFPftSHnQuHv2uDvTWQD4oe--
