I was wondering what I need to do to hook up an older Sun 16" monitor
to my Freebsd machine. I'm not sure of the make or model, but its
got 4 coax plugs on the back, and is fairly old. Mid 80's I'd guess.

When I hooked the monitor up to my laptop, I had sync problems. The text
appeared, but did a solid vertical roll. No playing with vhold could
get it to settle down.

So, do I need a special video card? or will a video card more powerful than
the one in my laptop be able to sync this monitor?
