Simon Shapiro has working drivers for the SmartRAID V's. I believe the same drivers work on the SmartRAID VI's (as they are also i2o 'engines'). You can get these from his website at http://www.simon-shapiro.org We're using them extensively now, both on development and 'non-critical' production machines. We've had no problems whatsoever so far :) If you use them, make sure you apply his latest set of patches 20000514.
