None of the compile/<kernel> directories for any of my 3.4 or 4.0 systems have a modules/ directory. You did do, # cd /usr/src/sys/i386/conf # config MYKERNEL # cd ../../compile/MYKERNEL # make depend # make # make install Or something to that effect, right? To be sure to wipe out any previous information, # cd /usr/src/sys/i386/conf # config -r MYKERNEL # cd ../../compile/MYKERNEL # make clean depend all install Should do the trick. -- Crist J.
