I've gotten to the part where I type # /usr/sbin/config GENERIC And then I get the error, "maxusers not specified; 8 assumed ERROR: version of config (8) does not match kernel! Cinfig version = 400018, version required = 400019 Make sure that /usr/src/usr.sbin/config is in sync with your /usr/src/sys and install a new config binary before trying this again. " Any ideas what I'm doing wrong here? I've even tried "config -r GENERIC", and I'm getting errors there too. Ok, I’ve been following the instructions here = at http://www.defcon1.org/html/Software_Articles/C= ommands-Flags/cvsup-build/cvsup-build.html in order to upgrade 4.4 stable to 4.5 stable. 

 

I’ve gotten to the part where I type = # /usr/sbin/config = GENERIC

And then I get the error,

“maxusers not specified; 8 = assumed

ERROR: version of config (8) does not match kernel!

Cinfig version =3D 400018, version required =3D 400019
