Yes.  You have to use cdrecord now for SCSI CD burners.

No, you need to use the IDE/ATAPI CDROM driver.  wormcontrol will talk to
that driver.  Ask Soren Schmidt <sos@FreeBSD.ORG> if you want more
information on it..
