Sorry to be so obtuse. I've been using FreeBSD since 1997. I tried to make install from the ports, 8.2. we had a power failure in the middle of the compile. Restarted the cpu. tried make deinstall. make clean. make install. I get Stop in /usr/ports/www/firefox error code 1 tried a different version. same error. went to packages. downloaded firefox-3.6.13,1.tbz pkg_add AOK now for the dumbest question of all! how do I start it from X ? In the old days, I simply typed firefox. now, I just get command not found. d
