Hi folks,

Does installing and rebooting with a GENERICupgrade kernel do anything
for me if this was my upgrade plan:

Fetch RELENG_3_0_0_RELEASE
make world
rebuild & install custom kernel
reboot
make aout-to-elf-build
make aout-to-elf-install

Or is the GENERICupgrade kernel install only to protect people who go
straight from fetching the source to doing make aout-to-elf ?
