https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D280644 Bug ID: 280644 Summary: net-p2p/transmission: broken with ftp/curl-8.9.1 Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: freebsd@wb9.se CC: mondo.debater_0q@icloud.com CC: mondo.debater_0q@icloud.com Flags: maintainer-feedback?(mondo.debater_0q@icloud.com) Curl 8.9.1 causes transmission to crash when torrents are active (starting = with --paused is a workaround to get it to start if you have active torrents, bu= t it will still crash once a torrent is activated). Downgrading to curl 8.9.0 se= ems to be the best way to get transmission to work again. Upstream issues:=20 https://github.com/transmission/transmission/issues/7035 https://github.com/curl/curl/issues/14344 Not sure if there's much to do other than waiting for a new curl release, b= ut from badgers comment in the curl issue he has no intention to do another bu= gfix release to fix this, so things may be in a broken state for a while. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
