I've had fairly good luck with an older IBM ThinkPad 750Cs, though I've 
had problems getting X to run on the LCD screen (works fine on an 
external monitor).

I am looking for a notebook that is compatible with FreeBSD, and am

following brands :

  IBM

  NEC

Can anybody provide me some information about the FreeBSD compatibility
