This solved a number of BIOS-related ACPI problems: previously, basically none of the "blue" Fn keys were working, suspending under ACPI caused the VGA to start displaying nonsense. After upgrading, all this works fine. As Matthew N. Dodd wrote: > ftp://ftp.jurai.net/users/winter/bios.tar.gz > > Untar in /sys > Compile and load all the stuff in /sys/modules/bios Cute. I see that part of it is already in -current though not all. Do you plan to also import the rest? Is there something else that an be done with it other than display the data? > Kevin Oberman wrote: > I'd run APM. Btw., upgrading the kernel to the most recent version seems to have solved /this/ one (the 0xdeadc0de panic), so i'm now happy with ACPI.
