ASC/ASCQ 24 00 is ``Invalid field in CDB''. Byte 2 value 3 is the number of the mode page in the CDB. Your drive doesn't support mode page #3, the rigid disk geometry page. Let me guess: it's a Jaz drive, ain't it?
