People, thanks for the (some of them rather nasty) responses, but
we're not talking one's personal environment here.  The ports should
build with /usr/bin in front of /usr/local/bin, that's a simple fact
of life we plan to keep distributing packages.

(Of course, it is nice if it works the other way around too, but that
is not strictly required and certainly will not take precedence over
the other order.)
