Guess what?  This was the problem.  I followed what Bernie said, and he
had told me to change the 0x90 to 0xc2, and that was apparently what was
screwing things up, because now I get all the cable channels I should!!  I
appreciate all the help Steve, and sorry for leading you down the wrong
path. =(
