No way!  The fundamental problem with tcl and tk is that their API's change
way too rapidly over time.  The reason 8.0 ports were not committed were
due to the author's disregard for backwards compatibility.

tcl/tk 8.0 should go in as ports once they are released, not before.
In beta, things are insane.
