sorry if did not previously explain myself properly, my problem is as =
follows:
after completing the installation and rebooting the computer the =
following message appears and the computer hangs.

F1    FreeBSD
Default: F1
-

hitting F1 or enter does not start the loading process.
what could be the cause of the problem?

it is not a dualboot, and i have tried using both the boot mgr and =
standard MBR with the same effect. i have tried installing the whole =
distribution and a minimal distribution and this is my first freeBSD =
installation so it has not worked previously.
