T he problem with Eudora is usualy not FreeBSD's fault : users usually set their RWIN, MTS, and MSS too high, such as RWIN 4096, MSS 1024 which is good for Eithernet, but not for dial-up. Try to lower down those value to , say, MTS 1006, RWIN 848, MSS 212 to get a reliable connection. Hope this helps. Yen-Wei Liu
