https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=200449 Bug ID: 200449 Summary: lang/rust: version 1.0.0 is compiled with "dev" channel Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Some People Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: freebsd-ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: saghmrossi@gmail.com In the source for Rust 1.0.0 downloaded from the official Rust website, if the "release channel" argument in the `configure` script is not set to "stable" before running `./configure`, the developer channel of Rust is compiled instead of stable, which allows use of the unstable portions of the language. Unless this was the intention, the port should probably be updated to default to the stable channel (or maybe the "dev" and "stable" channels should be separated into two different ports?) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
