Again, I DID upgrade the zpool, that was why I couldn't mount the zpool (which had been upgraded to v15) when the system was rebuilt, because the SYSTEM has v14. This turned out to be a problem with my sources that I've since corrected, and now all is working :) Thanks for your input and to everyone else who helped.
