Are you saying that ``set timeout 0'' followed by ``show bundle'' suggests that the idle timer is still around ? And when the connection is up (after ``set timeout 0''), does ``show timers'' show an idle timer ? Try putting ``set log command phase ipcp'' as the first statement in your default section and sending me the output if ppp is timing out after the ``set timeout 0''.
