How did you come to this conclusion?  The value of `v` won't be changed dur=
ing
the call to rw_drop_critical().

Were you able to open the crash dump and inspect the value of the lock stat=
e?=20
I would guess that the lock is destroyed (v =3D=3D RW_DESTROYED).  It would=
 be
useful to see the backtrace from kgdb as well.
