Ok, although I do not see any for sale on ebay (and none in completed auctions, either) I do see some for sale from used software outlets. Just so I get the right thing - am I right that I should be looking to buy: Vmware workstation 3.0 for Linux ?? And that will give me a usable license code to key into the vmware3 port that I install from the freebsd ports collection ? Thansk.
