It works fine when I log in as root through xdm, but there is no color when I log in as someone else. I have tried all the available options when open a xterm, as well as copying .fvwm2rc, .login and .cshrc from /root to make sure all my aliases for both users are the same. Can anyone suggest anything? Do you need to call xterm with +cm and +dc options? BTW I can make the cursor change color, as well as changing the background and foreground. The problem lies I am talking about the ansi escape sequences programs like colorls use. thks pierre -- Pierre-Andre van Leeuwen Electronic Engineer Powered By FreeBSD ******************************** * Nanoteq (Pty) Ltd. * * Specialists in data security * * E-mail : pvl@nanoteq.com * * Ph : +27 (0)12 665-1338 * * http://www.nanoteq.co.za * ********************************
