I have had bad luck with my Perl modules getting trashed when I upgrade my Perl distribution. I've changed my Config.pm for CPAN to point to another area for installing modules that I install. Also put PERL5LIB in /etc/profile with the proper settings. This all works fine. Do folks do this already ? Should my modules be getting trashed when I upgrade Perl assuming I let them install into the default area of /usr/local/lib/perl5...... ? -- ........................................................ ......... ..- -. .. -..- .-. ..- .-.. . ... ............ .-- .. -. -... .-.. --- .-- ... -.. .-. --- --- .-.. ...
