Are you running any type of firewall at all which is preventing any

definitely not  ...... Apana Brisbane policy is that all permanent users are
responsible for their own firewall stuff ... however we must use a http proxy 
at 203.3.126.3 port 3128

thats what I figure ..... ppp shouldn't be able to tell the difference either way
