Hi,
Just wonder has anyone out there experimented having a 2.X box
serving as the boot server for all versions of FreeBSD such as 1.1.5.1,
2.0R and 2.05R ?
I am planning to have such a dedicated server to server different
`clusters' of different versions of FreeBSD running in parallel without
having to install a new system on each of them, and the most important
thing to preserve the actively used 1.1.5.1 system, 2.05 and the future
2.1 and other 2.* systems.
Ideally, each of the workstations will either be swapping to the
boot server, or swap to a local disk depending on their roles.
Please give me some advice on this. Thanks in advance.
