In https://www.freebsd.org/releases/11.2R/installation.html on "Upgrading FreeBSD" the document states "At this point, users of systems being upgraded from earlier FreeBSD releases will be prompted by freebsd-update(8) to rebuild all third-party applications (e.g., ports installed from the ports tree) due to updates in system libraries. " May I suggest that, in order to make this clearer (at least to non-native english speakers) "At this point, users of systems being upgraded from earlier FreeBSD releases will be prompted by freebsd-update(8) to rebuild and/or upgrade all third-party applications (e.g., ports installed from the ports tree or binaries installed using pkg(8)) due to updates in system libraries.
