Try xmbmon --- it supports a lot of Asus' Athlon motherboards.  It's
in ports: sysutils/xmbmon

I've got an A7V266 and mbmon works for me:

    happy-idiot-talk:~:# mbmon
    Temp.= 38.0, 71.0,  0.0; Rot.= 5075,    0,    0
     Vcore = 1.81, 0.10; Volt. = 3.31, 4.97, 13.28, -15.74, -6.14
